1st of Many

Yesterday Sam got his first haircut and his first bribe. In order to keep Sam from squirming around we gave him a sucker. Hey sometimes bribes pay off, he didn't get his ear cut off! Anyway Sam's hair was getting long in the front and almost into his eyes so off to Nony's house for his haircut. We only cut a little at the front and around his ears. I really don't like haircuts on babies, it just makes them grow up faster. He did pretty good as long as he had that sucker in his mouth. And look how handsome he is!!

Before his haircut.

After his haircut and a bath. What a cutie!

Little Princess

This is our first baby, Sophie. As you can see she was a fluffy mess. She is really cute when her hair grows out but it is all tangles and stinky ! So we had no choice but to get her groomed. We usually groom her every 7 weeks but this time she went over 3 months. I was so glad to finally have she smelling good again, with a pretty pink bow!

Sophie before her haircut. I know everybody is going to like her better this way. But trust me she does not smell like a princess!

The little princess after her haircut. Its shorter than I like but still cute. She looks like a different dog!

Auto Expo

Saturday we went to the Auto Expo. Since I have a family of boys it was the perfect outing for all. Aydan loved that you could get in the cars and drive them. Peter looked like he was in heaven. He was dragging us through the whole thing saying oh look at that one, wow look at that and on and on. So needless to say the boys had a great time. Sam and I just hung back and enjoyed watching them ran around.

Crawling Machine

Watch out world Sam is crawling! He is now on all fours and cruising through the house and he is a fast one. We are going to have our hands full with this one. He is already pulling the DVD's off the shelf and likes to get into the garbage. Our next step is to child-proof the house and him! Go Sam go!

Noon Years Eve

On New Years we had a fun party with our neighborhood friends. It was a Noon Years Eve party, because there is no way we were going to be able to stay up until midnight. Remember we have been blessed with a baby that doesn't sleep! We can't afford not to go to bed at 10. Oh the joys. Anyway back to the party. We had the neighbors over for some food, lots of chatting and at noon we all went outside banged some pans and celebrated Noon Years Eve! Sorry I didn't take very many pics, I get too involved with chatting to be bothered with the camera! Later that night Aydan's cousins came over for a sleep over. They had a camp out in the living room and watch a movie. Not too exciting but still lots of fun!Jason, Lyv, Sam and Peter.

Yea for Christmas

Finally I get some time to post about Christmas! We had a great time during the holidays. My brother, sister-in-law and aunt traveled from Colorado to spend Christmas with us. We had so much fun. They came in on Monday and stayed till Sunday. Unfortunately my aunt left on Christmas day but we stuffed enough fun for the time she was here. Some highlights were, shopping at IKEA, tour of Tara's work, shopping at the mall, eating at Cheesecake Factory, taking a ride on trax, the big cookie bake off (mom vs. aunt, aunt won), sledding, movie, playing Wii, Christmas Eve ham dinner, white elephant, opening presents, family photos, playing at the blind center, more Wii, and lots and lots of eating cookies, pies, ice cream and candy! By Sunday we were all exhausted. Even the dogs couldn't play anymore. It was so fun to have the whole family together for Christmas. I have really missed having my brothers, sister and their spouses around and this was the perfect opportunity for everyone to hang out, catch up and laugh. I love my crazy, sarcastic family. And by the way nobody cried, quite an accomplishment!
