Sammers

Yesterday was Sam's 18month check-up. Poor baby had to get 3 shots! He only cried a little. He weighs 23lbs 10oz (19%) and is 34 3/4 in tall (97%). Big surprise tall and skinny! Little Sammers is a handful but a happy handful. He is always smiling and laughing. We love you Sammers!!

Love that smile!

All dressed up in Aydan's hat.

Sam and Aydan, brotherly love!

The Pioneer Woman

Last Thursday me and my friend Katrina went to a book signing. Ree has a blog, website that she discusses cooking, homeschooling and photography. Her cooking is awesome, all of her recipes are so yummy and pretty easy to make. Plus there is step by step guide with pictures. It is idiot proof, aka Annie proof. She recently published a cook book and was on tour and we were lucky enough to get her to sign our books. It was so crowded I bet there was over 800 people waiting. It took us about 2 hours waiting in line to have her sign our books. But it was worth it, she is so kind. Of course before the signing we went had a a great dinner at the DoDo. It is one of my favorite places to eat. All I have to say is Tollhouse Pie!!! Oh yea, and in case there is not enough pictures of me and Katrina, on Ree's website thepioneerwoman.com there are pictures of me and Katrina at her lecture and waiting in line. They couldn't get enough of me and Katrina!

Katrina and Ree, they are both so photogenic.

Tanner Park

A couple of Sundays ago we went to Tanner Park. Tanner Park is an awesome dog park in a canyon so there is lots of room for dogs and little boys to run around. It was very warm when we went so it was great. We went with my brother, Kris, his wife MiRanda, and my dad. It was a lot of fun and the boys really enjoyed having all that room to run around. We are going to try to make it a tradition and go every Sunday until it snows. Thanks for the invite Kris and MiRanda!

Halloween Fun

We had a great Halloween. The boys were super excited and got so spoiled! Thankfully it was great weather. Me and Peter both take the boys out, we don't want to miss any of the excitement of trick-o-treating. We just leave the candy in a bowl on the porch and hope for the best. We started a little early so it was still light outside which made it really nice. Aydan bugged us all day to see if it was time to trick-o-treat. Sammers didn't really know what to do but followed Aydan everywhere he went. Instead of putting his candy in his bag he liked to hold it. After a little while we opened some candy of Sam and put him in the stroller. He was so good, he just chilled in the stroller looking at all the crazy kids. The halfway point is going to the donut house. I am not sure who they are but every Halloween they make donuts, apple cider and hot chocolate. They are the best donuts plus a great place to stop and have a rest.

Pumpkins

My favorite part of Halloween is carving pumpkins. Peter is in charge of cutting the tops off then I take over. After seeing some other friends blogs I probably should have let Aydan and Sam help and play with the pumpkins. Next year!

First Snow and Other Things

It finally snowed! I hate winter, I just hate being cold which I always am. Okay I do like the snow and the weather change up until Christmas then I am done. But Aydan and Peter LOVE the snow. As soon as it snowed last Tuesday Aydan was in his winter clothes and was out playing in the snow. Thankfully he is old enough to go out and play by himself while I watch from the window. Sam really wanted to go outside but we stayed in and watched Aydan. I know I will have to go out and be in the snow soon but I will wait as long as possible. I am a big baby! Thankfully Peter is a great dad and will go out most of the time with the boys while I watch from the window! All my boys playing with Legos.

How cute! Peter is so patient and kind to the boys.

Sam wishing he could go outside.
