On December 5th we packed the boys up and headed down to Helper, Utah for the electric light parade. Peter's family is from that area so there are a lot of childhood memories for Peter. Of course we had to go the DI and Walmart. Really there is nothing to do in Helper or Price. At the DI Peter bought this old ten-speed bike. I still have no idea why he would buy it. The hotel was nice and the pool had potential, until we actually were in our swimsuits. The water was really nice and warm but it was like it was an outdoor pool. There was no heat so the the air was 25 degrees! Not so fun. That night we headed into Helper to watch the electric light parade. It was quite the ordeal to bundle the boys up, then ourselves and try walking with all the layers we had on. Poor Sam didn't have so much fun, we may have put too many layers on him, he literally could not move. The parade was lots of fun with lots of candy and even some toys! The temperature was not so nice, it was 19 degrees but with the wind it felt like 5! We all had a great time, and we have found a new family tradition!

Looks like a fun outing, COLD, but fun! :)
That's an awesome tradition. Looks way better than the Bountiful light parade. We have tons of family from Price. We'll have to compare peeps. :)
